I’m a Product Designer + Researcher with 5+ years of experience designing and launching new products. I have worked at big tech companies (IBM, Salesforce) and a growth stage startup (Preset).

Product Design

I’ve had the good fortune to work at 3 drastically different organizations working as a Product Designer. At IBM, I learnt how to manage myself and a large group of stakeholders. When I moved to Salesforce, I experienced the grind of building incredibly complex products for thousands of users. More recently, my work at Preset has taught me about how delivering often and quickly is the key to keeping your users on your product and excited about its future!

Learning & Technology

At their core, I believe that educators and designers do very similar work. Both educators and designers must understand their audience deeply and cater to their needs. No matter how good one’s lesson plan or design is, other human beings will be the arbiters of what makes for a good experience. I try to embody this principle by taking an evidence-based approach to creating educational materials.

Virtual Reality

More recently, I have been obsessed with Virtual Reality and the ways that it can captivate our minds and bodies. At Harvard, I thoroughly explored the question,“what makes for a compelling VR experience?” In making Climavibe, I learnt how to manage a VR project and take an evidence-based approach to VR design (while learning Unity along the way). In other projects, I used qualitative research to examine interactions in social VR settings.
